I have an HP M402dn printer which has started printing the Cantarell
font as blanks; a page using the Cantarell font prints as a perfectly
blank page. The printer has no problem with (eg) the Liberation Sans
font. I believe the problem started recently, possibly with my
upgrade from Fedora-31 to Fedora-32 on about May 17. Questions:
* How can I find out what fonts my printer supports?
* How can I install fonts into the printer?
Not knowledgeable about printing, but my understanding is that
documents are converted into a special language that the printer
understands. That is, the printer doesn't know anything about fonts.
It is more likely that the font in question has changed its
configuration; there was an initiative to retire old font formats and
convert them to a new one. You should open a bugzilla against the font
that is not working.
