I do experience another issue with this USB key.
If the screen turns in save mode, then after I re-log, I can never return to
my session: the screen is black.
Only one option: kill the session.

So something is caching your passphrase. Now you have to find out what
"something" is. As others pointed out, it is quite possible that the
gnome keyring manager could be the one. I have no experience with it,
so I'm not the right person to give you any advice on that one.
