What the output of:
$ /sbin/lsmod | grep nouveau
If it's not empty, add rdblacklist=nouveau to each kernel line inside
your /etc/grub.conf:
E.g. Change:
kernel /vmlinuz-2.6.32.11-99.fc12.x86_64 ro root=... rhgb quiet
To:
kernel /vmlinuz-2.6.32.11-99.fc12.x86_64 ro root=... rhgb quiet rdblacklist=nouveau

Hi Gilboa!
I added this line rdblacklist=nouveau already during driver
installation. So the output of /sbin/lsmod | grep nouveau is empty.
