I still have a few FC3 servers behind multiple layers of firewalls
but in general I wouldn't recommend living without security updates.
It's not just security updates that you miss out on, with old releases,
but also bug fixes. Not to mention trying to get things to work with
seriously out-of-date unsupported other things.
