Hi All,
I have to dig out Wine version 6 from Fedora 35's
repo (Wine 7 is an absolute disaster).
Question: how long will I be able to use the
dnf's `--releasever=35` option? How long are
the defunct repo's maintained?
I had issues the Fedora wine in repo, so add the winehq
version.
winehq-devel-7.19-1.1.x86_64
Think the fedora version worked for me up to 7.11, but
then 7.12 had issues with main program I use. After
going to the winehq version, haven't had any real issue.
Was one version that had an issue that caused scroll bar
not to work on all panels, but scroll wheel did. Then
quickly found fix for issue, and next release had it fixed.
Not sure if the wine in regular repos have been updated
since the 7.12.
Many thanks,
-T
