When there's a url --
http://foo.bar.com for example -- typed in the
terminal and I clink the RMB with the sprite on the text, I am offered
the option: "open link". So far, so good. The default browser is not
executed. (Firefox rather than Chrome, FWIW)
Question: where is the browser to be executed at this point configured?
Since you're using xfce, I don't know how to do it graphically.
Run "xdg-mime query default text/html" to see what the current setting is.
If that's not correct, then run:
xdg-mime default text/html google-chrome.desktop
Hopefully that will set it correctly.
