The one thing I will note about tracer is that sometimes it tells you that you should
logout/login. However, there are some user processes that by default persist across
logouts/logins. If those processes are ones that will result in unstable behavior
they will not be restarted. I would venture to say that a certain number of people
wouldn't re-run tracer to verify.
FWIW, I've also added "KillUserProcesses=yes" to my logind.conf to eliminate
those
persistent processes.
