Well, what do the logfiles tell you? Does journalctl have any information about
this? Are there any error messages?
The logfiles show nothing. There are no error messages. The network
simply says "no route to host".
Yesterday I noted that the contents of /etc/resolv.conf seemed wrong.
When I fixed this manually, the network came back up.
When I rebooted the host this morning (to the latest kernel), the guest
network was down again. This time I can't even ping the host's IP
address so editing /etc/resolv.conf solves nothing.
