I decompressed it and cd to folder RPMS and issued
this command as a root
rpm -Uvih *rpm (copy from the docs)
and it took forever to install and I stopped
installing it.

OOPs, I forgot it does come into a tar.gz. Sorry about that.
That is weird, I installed it before and it installed in about 2 minutes
or less. Cannot remember. How long is it taking??? What package is it
getting too???
