Hey there.
I've been looking for the netinst.iso for Fedora 10. I can't find it
anywhere on fedoraproject's download page, and there is no information
on where to find it in either the Installation Guide or the Release
notes.
I did eventually manage to find it by picking a random mirror and
mucking about through the folder structure until I found it, but why
is this relatively useful image not mentioned along with all the other
possible ones on the Get Fedora page? It would make locating it so
much easier.

Get Fedora page itself should explicitly mention where to find the
network/minimal install image, that's all.
I stand somewhat corrected...in the
/pub/fedora/linux/releases/10/Fedora/i386/iso directories of the
mirrors, id does appear that there is a "Fedora-10-i386-netinst.iso".
It also appears that there is a similarly named ISO image for the x86_64
series. My apologies for my mistake, there.
That being said, it wasn't all that difficult to find...the directory
structure, wherein locating ISO images vs. RPMs, etc, hasn't changed in
many, many releases...the netinst.iso is in the same directories as all
of the other ISO images.

Meng's message told you...use the boot.iso. It's readily
available...gives you the option of selecting a network based install,
CD, Hard disk, etc...and is only 128MB, as well.

All boot media except the distribution DVD present a menu that allows you to
choose the installation source, such as the network or a hard disk. If you
are booting the distribution DVD and do not want to install from the DVD,
hit *Tab* at the boot menu. Add a space and the option linux askmethod to
the end of the line that appears below the menu.
You can install Fedora from the ISO images stored on hard disk, or from a
network using NFS, FTP, or HTTP methods. Experienced users frequently use
one of these methods because it is often faster to read data from a hard
disk or network server than from a CD or DVD.

Perhaps adding it to http://fedoraproject.org/en/get-fedora-all, after
the Live media links? That way, if you went to the main download page
and chose "Show me all download options in one page" you'd find the
images. Do you think that would be a good place?
I know that one of the goals of the web team is to keep the main
download page as clean and uncluttered as possible, so I imagine they
would prefer to see it on the get-fedora-all page. Or possibly as a
one of the baloon links on the right side, though those are probably
best reserved for other things (we talked about putting clearer links
to the .iso SHA1SUMS and such in another balloon).
Another idea may be to add the netinst.iso and/or boot.iso images to the
Torrents lists, as well.

you don't see this get changed in the next few weeks. Or bring it up
on the fedora-websites-list. I think it's a valid complaint that we
could fix without too much effort.

Your ease in finding it depends a lot on your familiarity with the structure.
Consider that you had to realize which numbered version of Fedora you
were looking for, the fact that it was a "release" rather than a
"core", the type of architecture. Choosing between the jidgo,
torrent, iso folders.
You can of course claim that anyone attempting a local/network install
of Fedora with the minimal image should know all this stuff. Possibly
true. But even someone familiar with linux may _not_ be familiar with
how to access the Fedora mirrors, or assuming they find the mirror
monitoring page, which mirror to choose -- they may in fact waste much
time trying to find the "official" Fedora repo, when in fact there
isn't such a one.
So I plead convenience. "Not all that difficult to find" is
