Dear All
My Fedora computer is connected to a MS Windows, where the printers are connected. Could someone please indicate to me how to connect to the printers?
Thanks in advance,
Paul

Does the version of Windows you're using support Internet Printing Protocol? (IPP) This is the preferred method. You can also use a Samba connected Windows printer. The form for that is:
smb://<name>/<printer>
smb://mary/lexmark
Probably the easiest way is to use the CUPS configuration web interface. On the Linux machine, connect to http://localhost:631/

I have a question about the answer to this question. To do this does the printer on Windows have to be configured as a shared printer?

Yes. You also need "File and Printer Sharing" turned on.
