critical OO bug

Hi,
there is critical bug in OO ...in any OO doc right click on spelling
mistake ...... machine will go into zombie and entire machine will hang
till end of time or till you restart .....this problem is not there OO 2
beta
Is there any patch for this ??

Wireless connectivity NOT resolved

I thought it was resolved, but it turned out the WAP had not restored WEP
encryption like I thought it had. So, the wireless card works fine with WEP
turned off, but not when it's turned on. I've tried:
# iwconfig wlan0 key XXXXXXXXXX restricted
which generates this error:
Error for wireless request "Set Encode" (8B2A):
SET failed on device wlan0 ; Invalid argument.
My Googling indicates that this might mean that the card does not support
encryption, which I find unlikely since it certainly does under Windows.
I also tried:
# iwconfig wlan0 key 0xXXXXXXXXXX restricted
That generated no errors, but did not give me connectivity.

FC 3 and Sony Clie SL10/U

I know these happen often, and I've searched through the archive, but I
can't find any info there (or on google) that's at all helpful. I'm
trying to connect a Sony Clie PEG-SL10/U to my FC 3 box. The Clie is
out-of-the-box clean. I try Kpilot's autodetect, but it times out. I'm
connecting through usb.
Clie OS: Palm OS software v.4.1

Any more info I can give to help? Any solutions? I'd really hate to
have to boot into Windows to use the clie.

/ out of space - what to do?

I am running FC2 and I have been keeping my updates current. Recently, I ran
out of space on / and I can no longer do any updates. I have checked
/var/log files, etc and everything appears to be in order. Here is a df of
my system

DNS - subdomain delegate

Guys,
I am using DNS server in Fedora Core 3, and I have just one internal
domain (i.e. test.com.br).
I need to create a sub-domain, however in other site and other server
will control this sub-domain.
My question is. How can I delegate dns sub-domain ?

The truch is that any Linux book will teach you something.
As you progress in your knowledge and understanding, you will find, like
I did, that other books will help you to better understand certain
different parts of the Linux world and your impelemtation. You will
probably purchase many other Linux related books.... PHP, MYSQL, APACHE,
SENDMAIL, etc, etc,

Mixed batch of PC's

I have 3 machines running at home ( 2 are Windows XP and one is Linux (
Fedora red hat ) Can network them so that i may be able to LINUX TO
WINDOWS ( i can connect windows to windows !! ) ?

fstab vfat boot hang

Hi folks.
If I have the following line (below, line-wrapped single line) in my
/etc/fstab my machine hangs during bootup at the fsck stage complaining
that VFAT checking is still ALPHA. There is no HDD activity.
If I boot in rescue mode and remove the line the box boots fine.
What do I need to do to the line so I can leave it it and still have the
machine boot. I've tried 'nocheck' and 'check=no' as possible options.

Why after starting X there are many Nautilus processes which take a lot of

symbol lookup errors when yummed from kde-redhat repos

I always seem to get sysmbol lookup errors with programs I yum from the
kde-redhat repos. The error looks like the one bellow. I got somethign
similiar when i yumed amarok.
digikam: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/libdigikam.so.0: undefined
symbol: _ZN11KMainWindow7setIconERK7QPixmap
What can i do to fix this?
