The differences I see is that it looks like the usb_storage module
is already mounted, and the card is not being seen. Are you sure the
mini-SD card is properly seated in the reader?
so it does appear.
i have a multi card reader and his list is similar. tho it does show an
interesting serial number.
all tho he should be able to plug a card in and see it, it would be worth
wild to plug in card before boot to see what happens.
