Strange email?

I received this email from my FC2 box this morning. What can be made
of this?

I've not setup mailman to do anything, didn't even know it was
installed, (everything else apparently is using sendmail) but having
it suddenly decide to mail me my passwords would appear to be one
hell of a security breach.
The only "new" software installed recently have been inhouse built
versions of the utils that come with an pcHDTV-3000 card, and the
boinc/einstein stuffs.
Comments most welcome.

Where is the correct place to report this problem? And how can I tell
Fedora the use the eepro100 driver? I couldn't find a clue anywhere...

FC3 64Bit Raid Install Problem -- Failure to find drives
by Aaron Axelsen
Hello,
I just assembled a 64bit system with the Asus A7V Deluxe mainboard. I
am trying to use the promise onboard ata/133 raid controller to mirror 2
250gb harddrives. I created the mirrored raid setup from the bios, and
then went to install FC3. The install loads, it detects the following
devices:
RTL 3129, SMC EZ Card Fast Ethernet
SysKonnect SX-98xx Gigabit
VIA Sata Controllers
Promise Sata Controllers
Do i need to load an additonal device for the ata/133 raid setup to detect?
Thanks, i have tried a few differen things, everything unsuccessful

OT: Client-side CMS/CRM for Sales Staff using FC3
by Paul M. Bucalo
I am in need of an Open Source, single-user CMS (or scaled-down CRM)
that can be run on a laptop using FC3. (No PIM's, please -- they are
*not* the same thing.) I would prefer that the solution doesn't require
a back-end server, but will consider if database template is ready to go
without extensive issues in setting up SQL. It definitely cannot be Web-
based.
My research for the last three years has provided nothing that I feel
replaces Maximizer in Windows without extensive development through an
RDMS or a programming language. I'm hoping that someone on this list has
experience with Contact Management systems for professional sales staff
and will point me to the kind of immediate solution I am in need of.
Off-list replies are welcomed.
Thanks,
Paul

I'm not an expert, but I do know this one.
You need to check with the repository.
An example would be that downloads from Fedora.US can not be mixed with FreshRPMs. This information is posted on their websites, along with the repositories that they can be mixed with. These 2 repositories place files required files in different directories.

OO-html Export Problem
by Jonathan Allen
All,
Is it just me, or has anyone else seen a problem with the OpenOffice
Writer export-to-HTML functionality ? This is OO 1.1.3, in FC3, fully
up2date as of today. Click
File->Send->Create_HTML_Document
You should get a file dialog which will allow you to specify a destination
file to save a new HTML file. It is titled:
Name and Path of the HTML Document
Then enter a filename and click 'Save'. I then get a warning dialog box
saying:
Error loading document file:///name.html: /a2.html does not exist
This functionality is to save a file, not load a file, so something looks
to have gone wrong. Is this a known bug yet, or should I bugzilla it ?

Problem with gam_server
by John Wendel
Running up to date FC3.
I just burned a DVD and mounted it to check the files. When I tried to
umount it, umount said it was busy. lsof showed that the gam_server had
grabbed it.
So, not really knowing WTF the gam_server was, I tried man gam_server,
no luck, and apropos gam, still no luck. I hate stuff that doesn't have
a man page.
It can't be uninstalled, too many dependencies. I checked the services
configuration menu, no luck. I grepped /etc looking for a configuration
file entry that said gam_server, but found nothing.
Can someone tell me how to configure this POS so it doesn't grab my
mounted devices. Better yet, can I just make it go away?
Thanks,
John

Is mixing yum repos ok?
by Arthur Pemberton
How safe/dangerous is it to mix repos? I recently added the kde-redhat
to my yum config. Now I'm seeing updates for kde and Qt in the
kde-redhat repo, is it safe to apply them?
