Hi all,
what do you think about creating a matrix room for fedora-l10n on
chat.fedoraproject.org?
The room can be bridged with the #fedora-l10n IRC channel on
Libera.Chat.[1] For reference and example, you might see the #fedora-
doc channel. There are, for example, android and iOS clients available
too.[2]
The question for discussion is whether this move would be helpful to
working of this team.
Your voices 'for' or 'against' are welcome.
With regards,
Josef

Hello,
I am new to fedora, and was looking for an activity to help the project. I figured out with some help that I could translate some of your docs into French. I started on web translate, and wonder what to do next to have the changes validated.
I have started to suggest translations in French, and I would like to be put in contact with the francophone coordinator, if such a person exist in Fedora.
Also I would like to know if there is a policy concerning the use of inclusive language in French. I have opened a diversity ticket here https://pagure.io/fedora-diversity/issue/204
I am also looking for the translation project and translation guidelines !
Warm regards,
Nattes
Hello everyone,
Once again, the websites build is failing caused by a format error in a translated string [1].
I'm wondering if we cannot enforce the Python format check on the fedora-websites project, to avoid this kind of failure, since it can easily break all websites at once in its current state ?
In the mean time, I've fixed this string, but as usual, I'll need someone with sufficient rights on Weblate to push my changes to get this fixed as soon as possible.
Alternatively, you can give me the required rights so I can do it myself :)
