Hello
First of all, many thanks for shared stats.
I didn't participate in Brazilian translation but Czech :-)
Do I have really weird stats for translation activity? Well, the
translation "action" took 7 days (from 3rd to 9th Sep including both start
and end days) - my translation average rate was about 2000 words per day
for 5 days. Exception was Friday when I had around 250 words only. Another
exception from my average translation activity was on Tuesday when I had
about 5000 translated words - I finished translation of "Anaconda (F25)"
project and I used these translated sentences for unfinished "Anaconda
main" project as well (so mostly copy / paste action because the phrases
are (with some exceptions) the same in both projects). Thanks that I had
got double of average translation rate I normally had. Thanks all of that I
went over 15k words in total (without copy / paste action I would have
about 10k words).
Back to Brazilians and their superb translation activity. Well, based on
provided stats, the highest numbers were given for approving the existing
translation. That means someone had to read and approve what was already
translated. I would say this is a bit faster activity then translation
itself. So I believe they could make it even if it is crazy amount of work
:-)
Last but not least, this was not a standard week of translation activity.
It wasn't at least for me. That's why it is called "sprint". And I did
my
best to run like Forest :-))
