CVS is a pain in many ways, especially for the Infrastructure team.
We'll lose the ability to commit from the command line, but most
people don't use that anyway. And for those who want to review before
submitting, I think we could add a couple of useful (git) commands to
checkout the docs (basically just clone, pull/update and switch
branch).
I'd like to move the /cvs/l10n too to maybe an hg repo soonish.
Whenever I update our DL instance hosted there I lose some of my hair.
I have some intro git docs here:

If anyone who is more git-savvy has some suggestions -- especially for
the section on "Merging and Pushing" -- they're appreciated!
